We already know that the Bills Mafia wants to see a Super Bowl win this year…but our local dog lovers are also rooting for another superstar to take home a win! Ruffalo Jill from Buddy”s Second Chance Rescue will be competing against 118 other dogs in the 18th annual Puppy Bowl!
Ruffalo Jill was rescued from a kill shelter in Georgia by Buddy’s, a nonprofit dog rescue that saves dogs from the south and brings them to Buffalo so they can find their forever homes.
Julie Starr, founder of Buddy’s Second Chance, says she’s excited to see rescue dogs in the Puppy Bowl as it brings awareness to the fact that there are thousands of dogs across the country who are in need of homes.
The Puppy Bowl will air at 2 p.m. on Animal Planet and streaming on discovery+. Watch the The PUPPY BOWL XVIII Pre-Game Show at 1 p.m.
