Imagine being only 21 years old, having two children and living with the fear of having to leave them behind. That is the reality for Emily Kropp, a Lockport mom who is in desperate need of a kidney.
Kropp’s cousin, who reached out to Sweet Buffalo for help in spreading the word, tells us that his cousin’s kidneys are failing. Kropp has chronic kidney disease and is at the end-stage. She just had to have emergency surgery to have a catheter put in so dialysis could start right away.

“Family and friends, I am reaching out to you all with the hope that you can help me share the news far and wide.
I am a 21 yr. old, mother of 2 beautiful girls, Laylah who is 3 yrs.old & Lillian who is 1 year old. I currently live in Lockport NY. I’ve learned I need a kidney transplant and a living donor is my best chance for survival. As you may know I have end-stage renal disease. the Dr. gave me 3 months to live if I didnt get a transplant, I’m currently on dialysis while waiting for a transplant.
I want to be healthy again. I want to watch my babies grow up, see thier 1st day of kindergarten, graduate from high school, fall in love, get married and start family’s of thier own some day. I’m looking forward to the day that I’m not so tired, unwell and can live the rest of my life to the fullest being the best mommy I can be to my babies and hopefully Grandbabies.
