Nominate a ‘Shelter Advocate of the Year’ and help Niagara County SPCA

In an effort to recognize those who go above and beyond to help animals in need and continue to raise funds for the animal shelter, Niagara County SPCA is asking the community to nominate outstanding individuals or businesses for the “Shelter Animal Advocates of the Year Contest!”

Those who enter the contest are asked to share a photo and story of why this individual deserves to be recognized for their dedication to animals. Does someone you know work hard to save animals and help them find their forever homes? If so, you should nominate them – or even yourself – to be named Shelter Animal Advocate of the Year!

The top 12 individuals with the highest number of votes at $1 a vote will receive an award and be featured in Niagara County SPCA’s 2021 calendar where they will be photographed by Tailor Mayde Photography with one of our shelter animals! The shelter animal advocate who receives the most votes will be the cover model for the calendar. The contest starts today and runs until Aug. 30 at 9 p.m.

Niagara County SPCA hopes the contest shines a light on those who are making a difference in the lives of animals. By nominating someone for the contest or entering yourself, you will also raise crucial funds for the shelter during COVID-19.
