‘Pints 4 Pups’ at 42 North to help provide rescue dogs with free training

Who doesn’t love an event with beer and dogs, especially when it’s for a good cause. From 5 to 10 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 11, K9 Vision and 42 North in East Aurora are teaming up for the “Pints 4 Pups” Veteran’s Day event to help raise funds for rescue dogs that need training before they go to their forever homes.

Dog owners and enthusiasts are invited to come and enjoy free professional dog Q&A from Myles “DogBeGreat” Stubblefield who is an Army veteran, owner and pack leader at the K9 Vision Dog Learning Center (DLC) in Tonawanda. As a trainer, Stubblefield found that sometimes people don’t want to admit their dog has bad behaviors, so he decided to come up with ways to bring the community together in a more social setting where everyone can have open conversations about dog ownership.

“Whether it’s rescue dogs that have come from poor situations, breeders vs. rescues, or even the different types of people that own dogs, everyone should have a chance to give their dog the best life possible. And when a dog is trained properly, it means that everyone is happier,” said Stubblefield.

Pints 4 Pups at 42 North will mark the first K9 Vision “pup-up,” one of many brewery socials designed to get people talking more about their dogs. $1 from every pint sold at 42 North will be donated to the DLC Rescue Pack that helps rehabilitate and transition rescue dogs back into the community.

Stubblefield will have live training demos and take your dog training questions. Guests will also enjoy Fat Bob’s BBQ and live music during the event.

“42 North is thrilled to host this event. Not only is our beer garden extremely dog friendly, we are big fans of Myles and the work of K9 Vision,” said John Cimperman, 42 North Founder.

The event is presented by Clyde’s Feed & Animal Center and Cellino Plumbing Heating & Cooling. For more information on Pints 4 Pups, visit https://facebook.com/events/s/pints-4-pups-k9dlc-brewery-soc/264984335409190/
