A Tonawanda mom is in desperate need of a kidney. She made a plea on social media to please her make her story viral and it was shared more than 500 times.

Tara Candino-Chapman says she’s been a diabetic since she was as a teen. It’s taken a toll on her body and now she needs a kidney to get her health back on track.
“My kidneys started shutting down in 2014, that’s when I started dialysis. I’m always sick. Your body starts to physically shut down. I’m tired. I’m only 40 and feel like I’m 80. My kids understand that I’m sick. My husband works his butt off to support all of us since I don’t work anymore. Everything is a struggle.”
Candino-Chapman is also a cancer survivor. At 19 years old she was diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma.
“I’m a fighter,” she said.
