Claud, a 12-year-old visually and hearing impaired miniature poodle, was picked up as a stray and rescued by the SPCA of Niagara recently.
Volunteeers say it’s heartbreaking to see such a sweet soul abandoned and left to fend for himself. He needs a nice quiet home with someone who will give him all the comfort, care, love and affection that he deserves. He has an abundance of love to offer in return.
Claud is a sweet little guy and understandably nervous in the shelter. He needs to be shown that life can be good. We still don’t understand why the senior dogs are left alone at a time they need someone the most, but we are grateful for the SPCA for never giving up on them.
