Benefit to be held for boy attacked by dogs in Niagara Falls

After being bitten all over his body, including his head and neck, Kaeden has undergone more than 15 hours of surgeries and he will also require many years of therapy. This brave little boy and his mom have endured so much these past few months, so family and friends are throwing them a benefit to help financially at this difficult time.

You may remember the story about a little boy who was visciously attacked by two dogs while at a babysitter’s house in Niagara Falls on June 7. Thanks to wonderful doctors and many, many prayers, Kaeden Mitchell (nicknamed KK) is recovering, but this is just the beginning of a long road. After being bitten all over his body, including his head and neck, Kaeden has undergone more than 15 hours of surgeries and he will also require many years of therapy. This brave little boy and his mom have endured so much these past few months, so family and friends are throwing them a benefit to help financially at this difficult time.

The “KK Strong” benefit will be held 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 15 at Stephen Sikora Post, 950 Payne Ave., North Tonawanda. The benefit will feature a 50/50 raffle, Chinese auction, and food and drinks. Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for kids. Please contact Phyllis Fletcher Brown at 909-2866 if you would to purchase a ticket or donate a basket or service to the benefit. You may also email her at candymom64@aol.com with any questions.
