Niagara Falls salon to give one deserving mom a spa day

A local salon has teamed up with Sweet Buffalo on a very special mission to make one WNY mom’s Mother’s Day great this year as part of our Sweet Mother Contest!

Vogue Salon & Back Bar, located in Niagara Falls, will be giving away a spa day to one local mother. All you have to do is email sweetbuffalo716@aol.com and tell us what makes your mom special to be entered for a chance to win! The lucky mom will receive a 30-minute massage, a facial, a teeth whitening session, blow dry, style, makeup application including airbrush, and a strip lash application.

“There are so many amazing mothers out there and we just wanted to help give back to someone who deserves it,” said Christine Conte, owner of Vogue Salon & Back Bar.

The contest will end Friday, May 4, so be sure to enter your mom! Once the winner is chosen a date for a spa day will be decided by the salon! We can’t wait to read your entries!

My mom always puts everyone else before herself. She never takes time out for herself. I would like to see her win this as it would be the first time she was ever pampered. Thank you for the opportunity.

I had the sweetest mother, whoever she meet she left her mark.. A mark that made you want to be a nicer person, she had the brightest smile, one that you couldn’t help but smile from.. My mom battled pancreatic cancer for a year and a half.. She never lost her smile or her spirit to be a kind soul.. I was with her every step of the way until her very last day, She passed away on St. Patrick’s day of this year 2018.. I took care of her while caring for my own two small children 3 and 1.. I thank my mom everyday for being who she was because it’s made me a better person and mom.. Im nominating myself for the spa giveaway because well us as mom always put ourselves last and I could sure use sometime to myself.. this has been the hardest year of my life and I know it’s only made me stronger, but losing my mom at the age of 27 is something no daughter should go through.
Thank you for reading my story

My grandmother is my life. She is 60 years young and takes care of me and my sister after my parents died 5 years ago. She does everything for us and never does anything for herself and my sister and I want to nominate her for the free makeover. She was always perfect hair and nails but puts us first and we want to make her a happy day. She says she needs a spa day all the time but never does it and I know it’s because of us she didn’t. She even had open heart surgery last year. She takes care of us every day and this would make her so happy and us too. If we had a job we would buy it for her. She says all the time it’s not her turn it’s always our turn. We want to make it her turn. She is our mother and father and grandmother.
