A local mother is reaching out to the community because her son, Evan, has been extremely heartbroken since his dog, Clovis, has gone missing. He was last seen April 18 on a sled hill at Chestnut Ridge Park. Clovis means a lot to Evan as he has muscular dystrophy and Clovis is his best friend.
“Evan can’t walk and relies on a wheelchair. Clovis is his life,” said Colleen Mahoney, Evan’s mom.
Mahoney says her son has gone through a lot in his life. He used to be able to walk, but when he was in his teens he started to lose the ability to use his legs. Now he can no longer stand on his own as his condition progressed fast.
“This is why it is so important for us to get his dog back. He is what keeps him going,” said Mahoney.
Please call 716-512-0520 if you’ve seen Clovis. A $500 reward is being offered.
