Even during a pandemic, the community has not forgotten about our four-legged friends. Mary Alloy of Just Pizza in Amherst, who partnered with Niagara County SPCA on the viral Pizza + Pups promotion where she puts adoptable dog flyers on her pizza boxes, has now offered to help in another way!
Originally anyone who adopted a shelter dog from her pizza box received a $50 gift certificate to Just Pizza, but now she’s giving away the gift certificates to anyone who adopts a shelter dog from Niagara County SPCA whether they’ve been on the pizza box or not! Adopters will receive the gift certificate in their adoption packet and can enjoy dinner with their family on the house! ?
Alloy hasn’t went a day without putting the shelter dogs on the pizza boxes since the program was launched at the end of February. She says her pizzeria has been busier than ever before and customers are still commenting on how thankful they are that Just Pizza has chosen to help shelter animals.
