Nathaniel is turning 4 years old this weekend and while most kids would be excited about this, Nathaniel is really missing someone who made his birthdays the best….his dad.
Nathaniel lost his dad, Chris, just a few months ago. His family says Nathaniel has been sad without him, so this birthday will be hard and they feel terrible they can’t give him a party right now like his dad always would.
“He’s a sweet little boy,” said Amanda Long. “My cousin used to always make his birthdays big for him. It will be a tough year since we can’t even do a party for him,” she said.
Nathaniel also told his mom he’s worried about his dad not being there. As heartbreaking as it is for everyone, his family wants to make sure he gets the best birthday ever so they are organizing a car parade. Nathaniel loves fire trucks so if anyone has any connections to get fire trucks to come for a visit that would be amazing! He also loves superheroes.

Those who wish to help out in the parade may meet between 12:15-12:30 on Saturday, April 25 at the old Mellonis grocery store in Youngstown and then drive past Preston’s house at 487 Brookshire Road.
