Nancy-Leisten-Hicks was walking in the parking lot after a shopping trip to Kohls when she found a rock by her car. She didn’t know what it was for at the time, but when she realized she was touched.
“I discovered a “rock” by my car in the Kohl’s parking lot in Orchard Park today. Never heard of such a thing and was a bit reluctant to pick it up not knowing what to expect. The “rock” is of Hope with a breast cancer theme which I am a survivor. Along with my rock was a gift card for Tim Horton’s. I went to a friends and shared what I found and several people had heard of the story of the rocks. I’m touched beyond words to have received such a gift.”
The beautiful rock was made by Theresa Wrobel who just wanted to do something kind after seeing how much joy Sweet Buffalo Rocks were bringing to others. She didn’t know at the time that the stranger she was leaving the rock for was a breast cancer survivor, it was just meant to be.
