Andre the Warrior is his name and being brave is his superhero power. Andre was diagnosed with neuroblastoma, a rare kidney disease, at 4 years old. Andre and his family are from WNY but they moved to Florida prior to his diagnosis. While evacuating Hurricane Dorian, they went to the hospital for what they thought was a simple appendix removal for Andre and turned out to be cancer.
Because of insurance, Andre and his family must immediately relocate back to New York and start treatment for Andre, which is imperative for his survival.
