‘Concert for Cares’ to raise funds for Make A Case for Kids program

The ‘Concert for Cares’ to benefit Totally Buffalo Cares, a 501c3 nonprofit that gives back to children, families and nonprofits in Western New York, will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 18 at Buffalo Riverworks to raise funds for their Make A Case for Kids program. Make A Case for Kids delivers Christmas gifts, including toys, crafts, clothing and winter accessories to hundreds of families in need.

The concert features Carl Dixon (from The Guess Who & April Wine) & Last Buffalo, along with The Yachtfathers, Beatlemagic and The Scott Celani Band. Admission is $15. One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to Totally Buffalo Cares and their Make A Case For Kids program.

Carson Barnhart was diagnosed with congenital glioblastoma, an aggressive brain cancer, when he was 5 months old. He’s gone through so much and is now a healthy four-year-old warrior. His mom Kelly Barnhart is such an amazing advocate for her little guy. Carson and Kelly came on our Sweet Buffalo segment on News 4 Buffalo with Scott Celani of Totally Buffalo Cares and Carson received the very first Case for Kids of the season live on air!
