When Greg Dwyer, owner of Dwyer’s Irish Pub in North Tonawanda, learned a local resident’s phone – which had hundreds of photos and videos of her dying newborn on it – was stolen from the hospital, he knew he wanted to help.
He is now offering a $500 reward for whoever returns the phone.
“No questions asked,” he said in a Facebook post.
“I just couldn’t imagine going through what that family is facing and losing a child. We only get this one blip of an instant on this planet and you’ve got to try to make it a better place every day.”
Dwyer’s is located at 65 Webster St., North Tonawanda.
