“Dining at The Lodge is an experience and truly sets us apart from other restaurants, making us a true destination” said Katelyn Mawk, assistant general manager.

The Lodge Bar + Grill, located at 79 W. Chippewa Street, Buffalo, has gone through some changes, but one thing remains the same. The Lodge is not just a restaurant, it’s an incredible experience.

“From our new menu to our ambiance to our exceptional customer service, we are consistently making sure that we stand out from the rest,” said Mawk.

The Lodge has brought back Mawk and their former assistant chef Scott Ahearn, who is now their head chef, to take business to a new level.

“The owners wanted to take the business up a notch, so they brought Scott back on board as the head chef to execute an award winning new menu  and I to launch our new catering and banquet department,” said Mawk. “Pair our attention to detail, knowledge of the industry, refined service staff, and exquisite food execution and we are an unstoppable team.”

Everything on The Lodge menu is made in house from scratch, as The Lodge’s homemade smoked bacon from pork belly is made in their house smoker. They also offer a to-die-for Maine lobster mac and cheese that’s made with smoked gouda and a braised pork shank with grits, dandelions, and crispy onions. In addition, they have exceptional in house desserts including homemade chocolate marshmallows and ice cream made from scratch.

“It takes a lot of time, dedication, proper training and great product but it’s really going to give a mouthwatering experience to the customers that they really can’t get somewhere else. Pair that with our ambiance in The Lodge and it sets us apart from other restaurants in Buffalo,” said Mawk
