Well if this isn’t the coolest thing you’ll see all day. The iconic George Feeny from Boy Meets World (actor Bill Daniels) congratulated the North Tonawanda Class of 2020 via video!
The congratulations was made possible by North Tonawanda School Board Member Zach Niemiec. He believed it was important to give the students hope during a difficult time.
“Students remember iconic teachers in their lives,” said Niemiec. “George Feeny, albeit a fictional teacher, inspired generations as an iconic teacher, so who better to inspire the class of 2020 by reminding them to believe in themselves, dream, try and do good?”
In the video Daniels congratulates the students for graduating under such difficult circumstances. He says they may not fully appreciate it now, but their class will always be remembered…as historic.
