A local organization is aiming to make the holidays a little brighter for patients at Oishei Children’s Hospital.
“We are so excited to have Oishei Children’s Hospital as our 2018 event host, serving patients and their families,” said Jeremy Cooper, Help-Portrait to Buffalo founder.
Help-Portrait is a global iniative that aims to provide people in need with free printed and framed portraits free of charge, just in time for the holidays. It empowers people to gather together annually and serve their community. Hairstylists, photographers, make-up artists and more donate their time and talents to make sure these portraits will have a lasting impact on families.
“We exist to provide hope and bring joy to all those we serve,” said Cooper.
On Dec. 8, Help-Portrait Buffalo will be serving Oishei Children’s Hospital patients and their families as well as a few other community organizations with the gift of free portraits, but they need the community’s help. Photographers, filmmakers, hairstylists, makeup artists and anyone that’s willing to share a smile with those they encountered are encouraged to volunteer.
