The weeks are getting harder and the days are getting longer. Quarantine just plain stinks, but that doesn’t mean we can’t give back to others during this time. That’s why several local Facebook groups are keeping spirits up for Western New Yorkers.
Many of these groups refer to themselves as fairies. Magical creatures who secretly leave gifts on your porch for you to find and all you have to do is provide your address. Here are a few that have caught our attention.
Do you like wine? Wait…that’s a silly question to ask. Of course you do! Well then there are two Facebook groups for you.
WINE FAIRIES
If you live in Niagara County, be sure to add yourself to the Niagara County wine fairies Facebook group.
If you live in Erie, join the Sisterhood of the Traveling Wine – Erie County.
And in South Buffalo, Wine Fairies of WNY.
FLOWER FAIRIES
For all of you flower lovers out there, join the Erie & Niagara County Flower Fairies. They might just leave a surprise pot of flowers on your porch!
