In just two short days, Vinny Cicatello is getting treated to an experience he will never forget – the Super Bowl! Make-A-Western New York is sending Cicatello and his family to watch the game and more importantly his hero Lady Gaga!
“I’m definitely excited,” said Cicatello. “This is definitely a once in lifetime experience, not only to be going to the Super Bowl, but seeing my favorite artist at the halftime show.”
Cicatello, 20, of Buffalo, has been a fan of Lady Gaga’s for years and he even met her once when she invited him on stage at one of her concerts!
“I’ve met her three times actually,” he said. “She’s even worn some clothes I made at some concerts on her ArtRave Tour. I love her because she tells her fans that it’s okay to be different and be yourself.”
Cicatello knows a lot about being true to yourself. He’s a strong young man who has had to face battles of his own as he has severe combined immune deficiency. (SCID). Make-A-Wish WNY saw Vinny’s strength and bravery and worked hard to see his wish come true. They are now flying Vinny, his grandma, sister, and dad to Houston for the weekend. Vinny and his dad are going to the game.
“I really hope Gaga performs Applause and Born this way,” he said.
