People from all over are paying tribute to the 15 Humboldt Broncos players whose lives were tragically taken in a bus crash this week.
The hockey community is among the strongest, among the kindest and among the most empathetic. Tonight, we honor the boys and leave a stick out and the light on.#HumboldtStrong #PutYourSticksOut pic.twitter.com/c94ozbdEAH

In a beautiful effort called #PutYourSticksOut people are paying their respects by leaving hockey sticks on their porch in case the boys might need them in heaven. It’s truly heartbreaking to say the least. Our hearts and prayers are with the families of these amazing boys.

I wanted to leave a stick out for the Broncos. However, it didn't seem right to put it out on the porch because there is just such a nice lake just outside our backyard. pic.twitter.com/LXeLLsRexi
