Little boy fighting cancer still needs our prayers

Bentley recently celebrated his third birthday party with family and friends. It was a day full of love and smiles that was cherished more than ever because the little boy, who is stronger than most adults, has been fighting cancer. The day of his party, Bentley was feeling well, but he had to spend his actual birthday in the hospital. It's unfair that a little boy so sweet and so full of innocence has to fight the horrible disease that is cancer, but somehow he and his mom remain strong.

It’s unfair that a little boy so sweet and so full of innocence has to fight the horrible disease that is cancer, but somehow he and his mom remain strong.

Krystal Hayden is the true definition of “super mom.” Having another baby boy, Bentley’s younger brother, Krystal dedicates her life to making sure her two sons are well taken care of. She often has to take trips at the very last second to hospitals in New York City to get Bentley the best possible treatment. The family is in NYC now and she received terrible news. Yesterday while getting treatment, Bentley’s mediport came undone and the poor boy was bleeding everywhere. The nurse ran cultures and they went on with treatment, but in the morning Bentley’s mom received a call from one of the doctors. The culture came back positive and Bentley needed to come back to the hospital right away.

Krystal never knows what tomorrow will bring. Each day is a new one for Bentley and she continues to ask for prayers for her sweet and wonderful boy. “When will Bentley’s luck turn around?” she said. “Please pray for Bentley.”
