Why local mom says Young Living essential oils will change the way you live

Rachel Baksa of West Seneca wanted to find a way to live a healthier lifestyle for her family. She'd heard all about how essential oils could enhance her quality of life, so she decided to give it a shot. Little did she know it would change her entire world.

Rachel Baksa of West Seneca wanted to find a way to live a healthier lifestyle for her family. She’d heard all about how essential oils could enhance her quality of life, so she decided to give it a shot. Little did she know it would change her entire world.

Rachel, who is now a Young Living essential oils independent distributor, uses essential oils for just about anything. For those who don’t know, essential oils are the lifeblood of the plant. For instance, when you grow a peppermint plant in your backyard and you rub it between your fingers and your finger gets all oily – that’s essential oils. When you cold press plants, it extracts the natural oil from each of the plants and each oil has different properties to support various immune systems and enhance an individual’s quality of life.

“Every system of the body can be supported by oils to maintain a healthier lifestyle,” said Rachel.

Although Rachel says the difference between Young Living essential oils and other oils you may find on the street is that these oils are 100 percent toxin and chemical free.

“Some people say they can go to the store and purchase essential oils off the shelf and that’s probably true, but you don’t know where those oils came from. In order for a company to label their product as 100 percent essential oils, it actually only needs to contain five percent of that oil. Young Living goes over and above any FDA compliance,” said Rachel.

Young Living produces their products on their own farm without any pesticides or chemicals. They even use their own essential oils to help deter pets – one of the many reasons why Rachel chose to live by their product.

Here’s what she uses Young Livings essential oils for.

Seasonal support

Essential Oils offers support for seasonal issues.

Digestion

Essential Oils helps support the digestive system. Some people even like to cook with the oils.

Cleaning

Essential Oils offers a chemical free, non-toxic way to clean your house. Baksa uses the oil to clean her floors, countertops, and toilets; she even makes dish soap and dish pods with the oil as well.

Shampoo

Anything that you rub on your skin gets absorbed into your blood stream, so Baksa wanted to find a safer alternative to the harsher chemical shampoos. She says cancer runs strong in both sides of her family, so she wanted to be as proactive as she could. Not only does her family make shampoo with the oils, Baska also bathes her pets with the oils as well.

Makeup

Essential Oils also has a line of chemical free makeup that can offer an alternative to over the counter products that may contain chemicals that will do damage to your skin complexion. Baksa says these are just a few of the unlimited amounts of ways Young Living Essential Oils can create a healthier lifestyle for you and those you love.
