We believe business owners who give back to our community deserve to be recognized and that’s why today we are happy to share with you something that Neal Urban Photography did for Make-A-Wish WNY that was simply outstanding.
Each year, Neal Urban dedicates his holiday photo sessions to giving back and calls it “Photos for Toys.” This year he chose a charity that took the time to share their important mission with him.
“Make-AWish made the time to meet and talk to us. Showed that they really cared,” said Urban. “They were so excited, appreciative and thankful when we made our decision. They told us all about the kids and families that they help. It felt personal and like a family environment. We were promised that the toys stay local which is very important to us. We want to help local families and not see the toys get shipped off to headquarters out of town.”
Through their outstanding work, Neal Urban Photography was able to collect $9,000 worth of toys for Make-A-Wish kids, of which the photographer says he is extremely grateful.
“We would like to thank everyone who supports us and shared our event by word of mouth or social media sharing. They are the reason why we have never advertised this event outside of social media and it grows more and more every year. This was a tough year in some extremely cold and snowy weather conditions so we’d like to thank everyone who toughed it out in the weather. It’s because of them that we are successful because no matter what they arrive with a positive attitude, donate some toys and share their images with family and friends. Thank you to all!”
