To those who walk past Solstice’s kennel at Niagara SPCA, she may seem misunderstood. But, they don’t know her story.
It was April of 2019 that Solstice was left on the side of the road in a crate with her sibling with dry food poured all over. There was no water and the crate barely fit the two of them. Scared and confused, the two dogs sat there alone wondering why someone would do this to them. Thankfully someone spotted these poor helpless animals and Niagara SPCA was able to put them in their care. Solstice’s brother was adopted right away, but sadly, Solstice remains in her kennel still wondering why she doesn’t have a home.
Solstice is the sweetest girl who loves to be loved. She takes treats so gently and she enjoys being petted very much. She must go to a home with children over the age of 7 and no other dogs or cats. If you’re interested in Solstice, call Niagara SPCA at 716-731-4368 or visit the shelter at 2100 Lockport Road, Niagara Falls to fill out an application to meet her.
