It’s important to instill in our little Buffalonians the importance of truly showing pride in where we come from, which is why one local mom has gone above and beyond to show off her family’s #buffalove!
Kristy Young, mother to a beautiful little girl, decided to create her very own line of Buffalo Tribe Tees so that parents could share their love of Buffalo with their little ones. After creating clothing for fun for her own daughter, Young realized she may have been on to something.
“I made a shirt for my daughter and I to match for the Bills season with a red pocket in the front and a red buffalo on the back and people kept asking me where we got the shirts from,” said Young. “They said they would like to buy some from me and that’s what sparked the idea that I could potentially do this.”
Young has been making her own clothing since she was a little girl. Her grandmother taught her how to be creative and she now uses what she learned to make unique clothing for her new Buffalo-themed line.
“It’s such a fun city that we live in with so many awesome opportunities and I think people like to show that off,” said Young. “It’s a creative product that helps show their spirit for not only the team, but Buffalo itself.
The clothing line features onsies, toddler sizes, kids sizes, and shirts for women to match. Each shirt comes with a pocket in the front and a Buffalo in the back.
“I think we’re able to make more memories when children wear their Buffalo shirts with their parents, and to me, that’s priceless,” said Young.
