New ‘Pop Up’ weddings allow couples to have their dream wedding in 90 minutes

Want to marry the love of your life without all the hassle? What if you could have your dream wedding in 90 minutes? Well, on Nov. 18, a new idea by local vendors in Western New York can give you exactly that!

“A Pop Up wedding is a unique option for those wanting an elopement-style wedding, but in a more elaborate, and intimate fashion. We give couples a beautiful ceremony and amazing vendors, all within a budget-friendly package. This is such a great, stress free option for anyone who doesn’t want to compromise their dream wedding, but either needs or wants to have a smaller one,” said Rebecca Duda, owner and stylist of quaint rentals.

So, how is it possible to have the wedding of your dreams in 90 minutes? Here is a step-by-step guide of how the day will go.

First, couples will pick a time slot of either noon, 3 p.m. or 6 p.m. on Nov. 18 to have their “Winter Romance” themed Pop-Up at The Chapel at Roycroft in East Aurora, held by officiant, Jennifer Widmann. Then couples pick various options from vendors including Bridget Rochelle Photography, Fern Croft Floral, Blue Eyed Baker, Fab U Bus for hair and makeup, and quaint for rentals, styling and coordination.

“We take care of everything, so all couples have to do is get their marriage license, purchase their wedding ensemble, and invite their friends and family. They can invite up to 20 guests who will enjoy beverages, desserts, and music after the ceremony. We want to make it as fun and intimate for the couple as we can, so they never have to feel like they settled for anything less,” said Duda.

Once the ceremony is over, the couple will step away for their photography session around the chapel grounds while their guests mingle. When they are finished they will come back up for their first dance. When the 90 minutes is up, there will be a grand send-off so the couple can get to their next destination.

Duda says pricing on the pop-up wedding will vary depending on the vendors involved, but pricing starts at $2,500 before tax, a pretty reasonable fee to have a dream wedding in 90 minutes. It’s a great idea for couples who might have to speed up their wedding or who have just decided that a huge wedding isn’t for them.

“There’s nothing wrong with a courthouse wedding or any wedding you choose to have, but we wanted to give couples in Western New York one more option. An option that would allow them to have everything they ever wanted in a wedding without having to break the bank. By having hair and makeup on hand, a photographer, a baker, myself and an officiant, they don’t have to deal with the stress of finding all of these vendors by themselves. We are here to make life simple for them and we hope to to do this for many years to come,” said Duda.
