Today was a beautiful day for many families facing hard times at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. Thanks to volunteers at an amazing local organization, patients and their families were able to have their portraits taken free of charge.
Help Portrait Buffalo gave families the gift of free printed and framed portraits just in time for Christmas. Families were able to have their hair and makeup done thanks to wonderful volunteers and photographers took the photos free of charge.
“Today was incredible. We laughed together, cried tears of joy together, and most importantly we loved people together, said Jeremy Cooper, organizer of Help Portrait Buffalo.
Cooper helped bring this initiative to Buffalo and we’re so glad he did. Great job to everyone involved.
