Puppy shower to be held for rescue dog and her puppies, community invited!

A rescue dog and her puppies are about to be showered with love thanks to Bellreng’s Towing & Automotive!

Sweet Buffalo and Bellreng’s Towing have teamed up to host a “Puppy Shower for Zoey!” Zoey the dog was rescued from Open Arms Rescue of WNY and immediately had puppies. There was no time for a shower so we want to help throw her one!

From 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday, March 28 the community is invited to come to 2131 Eggert Road in Amherst and bring by a gift or monetary donation for Zoey and her pups. In return, guests will receive a complimentary tote bag filled with goodies (including a $25 gift certificate to Just Pizza in Amherst and thank you cookies), plus a raffle ticket for a chance to win a grand prize valued at $500!

“When my wife and I saw Zoey and her puppies on Sweet Buffalo’s Facebook page, they touched our hearts. We have rescue dogs at home and they have changed our lives for the better. Anything we can do to give back through our business to help homeless dogs is what we want to do,” said Michael Bellreng, owner of Bellreng’s Towing & Automotive.

Adoption applications will be available to fill out to adopt Zoey and her puppies when they are ready to be adopted (no guarantees for adoption as every rescue has their own process). Open Arms Rescue will also have merchandise for sale with proceeds going to the rescue!
