Olive, a 5-year-old pitty mix, hasn’t had the best of luck in her life. In 2014, Olive and her sister were part of a rescue transport. Olive was adopted, but then sadly returned due to circumstances out of her control. Her best friend, a black lab, passed away before she found herself homeless again and she has declined mentally since his passing.
Olive is now back in the care of Queen City Pitties who have her in boarding at Buffalo Barks. However, this isn’t ideal for Olive.
“They are so great to her, but she really needs a family, carpet, couch, etc.,” said Jennifer Welker. “She will also need someone who is home a lot, due to her separation anxiety.”
“Olive takes a moment to warm up to new people, but once she does, she will be your shadow. She does this funny howl when she demands fresh, cold water; when she has to go outside; or when she wants attention. She’s also great on leash. She loves peanut butter bones and Kong’s.”
