We know many of you were wondering what the heck happened to that HGTV show featuring two WNY locals Chris and Lorissa Naugle. We were all patiently waiting to watch the “Risky Builders” pilot and kept our fingers crossed that HGTV would pick the show up. Well, here’s the scoop. The show will definitely, positively air 2 p.m. Sunday, June 24 and the couple is so grateful to still have a date!
Risky Builders was originally set to air Feb. 18, but postponed because of the Winter Olympics and the Daytona 500. Discovery also bought Scripps (the same network that produces Flip or Flop) and put all unaired pilots through new testing…cutting 18 pilots that will never to be aired (so sad for those people), but “Risky Builders” persevered and was a favorite.
Receiving that news definitely helped keep the couple hopeful while awaiting the new date. They’ve never seen the finished product themselves, so it will be as much of a surprise as it is to the public when it airs. Be sure to tune in! And if you really want to help, start tuning in at 1 p.m. for the show prior to Risky Builders and continue to watch the premiere at 2 p.m. to give Risky Builders the best rating. Let’s show HGTV what Buffalove is really all about!
