Sometimes a small act of kindness can make a world of difference and in the case of a local boy battling cancer for the second time, any thoughtful act no matter how small brightens his day.
Bentley Hayden will celebrate his 4th birthday Aug. 8, but sadly it has to be celebrated in a New York City hospital.
“He has treatment again. I tried so hard to make it another day besides his birthday, but there was nothing I can do,” said Krystal Hayden, mom.
But there is something we can do! We are asking WNYers to do something very simple and kind. Please send a card to Bentley for his birthday. He will be staying at the Ronald McDonald House in NYC July 29 – Aug. 11.
