Special Spaces Buffalo, a local chapter of a national nonprofit that’s dedicated to creating dream bedrooms for children facing life-threatening illnesses was kind enough to share this amazing video of Lucas, 8, who received a carnival bedroom makeover yesterday!
And, we think it’s safe to say he liked it!
Lucas is battling cancer. According to Lynn Wall, director of Special Spaces Buffalo, the young boy has lived through a tumor removal at Sloan-Kettering, many rounds of chemo and a bone marrow transplant last April. Lucas loves carnivals and has a family connection to the Erie County Fair. Upon hearing this, the Special Spaces Buffalo “Dream Team” went to work to ensure Lucas had the coolest carnival room ever!
We think that’s simply amazing.
