You know we love a sweet story and this one is the sweetest! Mia is a 3-year-old girl who just loves dogs…especially dogs from Allie & Pals Rescue who she met at one of her mom’s Be Kind events.
“We consider her our mini volunteer because she is the first one lined up when we get to an event and the last one to leave. You’d never believe she isn’t even four yet because she has full on adult conversations with everyone who comes to meet our dogs. She loves to carry the pups over to people and help find all the doggies homes,” said Emily Burow from Allie & Pals.
Yesterday Mia surprised the rescue by raising money for the rescue dogs. She upcycled crayons and sold them all on her own! For the first time, Mia wasn’t in the puppy pen all day. She sat patiently for four hours and sold her crayons. She was able to raise a whopping $85 for the rescue dogs!
Way to go Mia! Thank you to Allie & Pals Rescue for sharing this sweet story with us!
