Last night Town of Tonawanda Police responded to a call for a welfare check on a mother with three children who just lost her husband. Everything turned out to be okay, but the family was trying to figure out how to get a turkey for Thanksgiving.
So what did the three officers do?
They went and got her one and more groceries that she needed for the holiday. How beautiful is that?
