A dog and cat from Clarence went viral on TikTok for melting hearts with their beautiful friendship & we wanted to share their story with you so your heart could melt, too.
In 2020, Lee Babirad’s service dog passed away, leaving her other dog Meadow without a best friend. She decided the best way to cheer them both up would be by taking Meadow out to choose her very own kitten.
“I am happy to have done it. These two have been best friends ever since,” she said in the TikTok that now has 7.6 million views.

Twig & Meadow sleep together, they eat together, they play together, they go for walks outside together. You are unlikely to find one without the other and it’s almost as if they are a reincarnated married couple!

“I thought getting a cat would be a healing-aid to MY soul after suddenly losing my dog Willow. It turns out Twig would be a healing-aid to Meadow’s heart, too. Through Meadow and Twig’s unique couple-like relationship, we have all found healing through unconditional love. It’s the purest,” Babirad said.
