WNY paramedic’s dog in need of life-saving surgery, how you can help

A WNY paramedic and volunteer firefighter is in need of the community’s help. Jason Mike’s 4-year-old German Shepherd, Milo, was diagnosed with a splenic torsion and needs emergency surgery to remove his spleen.

Chad Blanar, Jason’s former paramedic partner at Mercy Flight, reached out to Sweet Buffalo for help. He says Jason has dedicated his life to helping the WNY community as a flight medic and firefighter and now he needs us. His dog was a dream come true for him, and now that dream has turned into a nightmare. Jason might lose Milo at only 4 years old if he doesn’t come up with the funds to save him.
