It’s been months and months of painting for some Western New Yorkers and it’s all for a good cause.
More than 1,300 rocks have been painted for the upcoming Rockin’ Egg Hunt Charity Event hosted by Sweet Buffalo Rocks and sponsored by the Gatas Team to benefit four local families with children battling life-threatening illnesses.
The event will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 20 at Harlem Road Park, West Seneca. Attendees will pay to find an egg and in each egg is a ticket to redeem for a painted rock!
Superheroes from A Justice League Western New York and princesses from A Dream is a Wish Entertainment, and Buffalo’s Best Batman will be on hand to meet with kids. Sassi Cakes will be bringing their pink cupcake truck with a portion of sales going to the families. Games will be available, face painting, rock painting, a huge basket raffle, music and so much more.
Egg hunting starts at 10 a.m. and goes until eggs are gone. The basket raffle ends at 12:30 p.m. For more information, call Kimberly LaRussa at 716-799-7115.
