Buffalo’s Best Batman donates $1,000 to Mercy Flight WNY

Did you know Batman not only saves our city from crime and every villains, he also gives back to our community?

William Lorenz Jr., aka Buffalo’s Best Batman donated a check to Mercy Flight WNY in the amount of $1,000 today – funds he raised from the sales of his book, “The ballad of Buffalo’s Best Batman.” For those who may not be familiar with Mercy Flight, they are our heroes in orange, peramedics who fly via helicopter to get to the scene of an accident when minutes matter. They’ve saved countless lives and they forgive any fees to anyone who is uninsured or underinsured.

“I did an event with Mercy Flight last summer and discovered they were a nonprofit organization. I was very touched by that. I kept in contact with them up to the release of my book. I had always wanted to have a charity component to my book since it is about my charity work and they were my first choice,” said Lorenz.

Lorenz’ book follows his passion for cosplay and bringing joy to others. He’s also an attorney at HoganWillig where he advocates for child abuse victims. You can purchase his book here: www.amazon.com/Ballad-Buffalos-Best-Batman/dp/1732698120

Lorenz also attended Sweet Buffalo Rocks’ Rockin’ Egg Hunt Charity Event last April, one of many events he volunteers at to better his community. For more information, follow Buffalo’s Best Batman on Facebook: www.facebook.com/buffalobatman/
