Today was the best day of one local shelter dog’s life. After spending nearly 500 days at Niagara SPCA, Bonita was finally adopted!
She received a beautiful send-off today from staff and volunteers at the shelter who took such good care of her. They were so excited to find out that a nice gentleman had come into the shelter and after meeting Bonita just fell in love!
Bonita was a harder-to-adopt dog who was overlooked in her kennel because she couldn’t go to a home with small children or other dogs. Now Bonita will have a constant companion. It was a perfect match!
Her new owner tells us she’s settling in nicely and he looks forward to all the time they will be able to spend together! This is the best Christmas present any shelter dog could receive!
