When we posted a video yesterday of a Kenmore Mercy Hospital employee who sang to a patient (and our friend) Diana Donnarumma as she was getting her nutrition, we had no idea how many lives this woman has changed. Her name is Gloria Peay and according to her co-workers and former patients, she’s the ray of sunshine they all needed to brighten their spirits. Now we want to help Gloria get recognized by Ellen DeGeneres. She will be featured on WKBW Channel 7 News and WGRZ Channel 2 News today with Diana, so look out for that, too! Diana, who was kind enough to send us the video, says she had no idea the video would take off either, but she’s grateful it did.
