Nine-year-old Silas DeJarnette was the sweetest little boy who battled neuroblastoma with bravery and strength. Sadly Silas passed away on Feb. 4, 2023. His dad Kenny and twin brother Izaak are heartbroken to say the least but they want to keep Sila’s memory alive.
That’s why a local woman and friend of the DeJarnette family, Desiree Hernandez, has planned a benefit for Silas this Sunday, Feb. 19 at Soho, 64 W. Chippewa St., in Buffalo from 6 to 10 p.m. The benefit was put together to help Silas and his family before he passed, but knowing that Kenny and Izaak need our support now more than ever, the benefit is still being held.
Tickets are being sold online and at the door for $20. There’s also a basket raffle with great items to win:
